Growing up, our life revolved around the kitchen and the magical things coming out of it. Among all the mouth-watering aromas , there was a very distinct one permeating the whole house. It was due to a small herb we called kinzi. Unknown to us at the time, kinzi is the Georgian word for coriander and it is actually called kisnis (read as kishnish) in Turkish. Our studio's name comes from coriander, from the same source of our inspiration: our roots, the food of our childhood, the tastes of our mom's kitchen, our family's crowded dinner tables.

Kinzi Studio sets off to tell stories of food, products and objects. Using seasonal and fresh products, we adopt a sustainable and environment friendly approach. Our goal is to blend simplicity with a deliberate imagery, and to frame the emotional qualities of color, form, light, shadow and texture.
